A Blessing for the Addicted

By , North Grafton, MA
In this life, of sharp turns, and deep cuts, you are bound to lose your footing,
Every now and then.
The monster has taken you back to its evil world
And you must pull yourself out this time.
Let the wind sweep you up, and let the sun
Warm your depressed heart.
In your endeavors, of life and more
Let your feet wander back to your destined path, for I know you have gone through the pain,
Face the horrid monster like David with goliath
Be Michael the archangel, and battle the wrongs within yourself.
Become all that you can, and leave your treacherous past behind.
May you have the courage to find your perfect destiny,
To shed your old, and to accept your new.
Let you faith and your fate bring you back to life.
