"if there is no road bumps in life theres nothing to get over"

Why is it though we live in a world with so much hate
slinging around those gang signs and all that ghetto slang
bringing back those words that were only meant to degrade
shufflin those drugs and that only leads to pain
cause soon its gonna go wrong and your streets gon quake
grown men sayin they hustlin just to keep alive
but i never knew hustlin meant taking other peoples lives
livin so poor you gotta make do on the floor
penny-pinching so you can have just alittle bit more
holdin on to life like a new born baby
and the way those are born everyday are crazy
dropping out of school
now so big and you still dont know who the daddy is
and even if you do he probably dont want the kid
feeding your child from the bossom of your body
but you aint got enough so you sleeping in the lobby
it aint no hobby pickin your homeys remains off the street
just cause some ghetto gang didnt like the way he shined his teeth
livin in fear to come out your house so you dont come out
thinkin thats gonna make it all better now
but the ghetto will find you
evil always gets its pleasure
so tired of this world we livin in
but why does it seem like satan always finds his way in
