An Ending Forever

You spoke of forever and the future with ease
Knowing now it's the past I wish to freeze
Did you know things would change like they do
And we wouldn't always see each other through and through
So what happened between then and now
After all those smiles, laughs, and tears, how?
Do you ever think about me
And know my thoughts that will never flee
I can't change the past
And the moments you made me believe would forever last
How you'll never know what you've done
I just hope one day, you're left with none
