Fingers dither on the keyboard
“What I mean is …”
“No, what I'm trying to say …”
Stab the backspace key
There's emotion rising
But I can't for the life of me work out what it is
Just get it on the page!
Write what you feel!
But it won't come
Trapped somewhere between the confines of my brain
And the depths of my heart
Unable to form words my fingers can type
What I want to say
Is a feeling
And how do you possibly put something so magnificent
So complex
Into words?

i love this poem! i know how you feel sometimes the feelings you want to express just cant come out on the paper.
