It's hard being a millitary brat

Sometimes you get tired of those drums going rat-a-tat-tat

More importantly having to see your friends and there family PCSing

It's very depressing

Saying bye to them on there last day

But wishing they could stay

"You'll see here later on in life" my mom said trying to cheer me up

But the tears were still there, no luck

Her so called "later on"

Is way to long

5 or 6 years ahead

But I still get out of bed

And take it one day at a time

But she will always be in my mind

Man i still remember her last Sunday

When she came to my house to stay

Not forever even though that would have been fun

I don't think she could have done

Without her Mom and Dad

And she probly would have been sad

You should know the feelings of not wanting to hurt ur bestfriend ever in your life

But wanting to to hold on to the friendship so so tight

Well to keep myself goin day by day

All i have to say

Is all those good byes will come back as an "OMG! I HAVENT SEEN YOU IN FOREVER"

And thats better than never

And until that day comes i will be the one

To chat, text, talk with you until our seperation is done!
