of course
when a tree falls, it makes a noise
even if no one is around to hear it
feel the tremors of the earth
feel the shaken breaths
feel my carbonated heart
pump inside my chest
existential spaces
inside our happy places
burning up whatever thoughts
my brain matter had to offer
so laugh at my intelligence
starshined and brilliant
I'm nothing but resilient.
