Mistaken

As I fall into the depths of my lonely doom
The darkness steals the light
My screams are lost in the silence
And as I fall farther and farther into this hole that I have made
I think about the mistakes that led me to today
Was it the lies or the way that I miss led
If I could do it over would I do it all again
Or would I trade it for truth and steering people right
If so maybe I’d be flying into the golden light
