Just because I’m short
Don’t stand above me and laugh in my face
Don’t put your arm on my head and pretend that I’m an armrest
Don’t compare our sizes
Just because I’m short
It doesn’t mean I can’t be pretty
It doesn’t mean that I can’t make friends
It doesn’t mean that I don’t have feelings
Just because I’m short
People think that I don’t care when they make fun of me
People think that I can’t ever see what’s happening
People think I can fit into every small hole
Just because I’m short
I wish people would see my point of view
