Starts off with a leap
The shiver runs down my spine
Goosebumps scurry across my hands
The blue surroundings vibrate
My pulse enhances

The warmth is scarce at first
Rise to breathe the sparkling air
What's on my mind?
Nothing else but speed
The impulsive silence

At first,
A long way to go
The shouts of others,
Bolster my mood
Just then a sparkling blaze

My hand touches the rails
A split second later,
The buzzer rings
The sounds of a victory yelp
Success! I love to swim

At first, I was unaware of what was going on. But then when I reread it with understanding, the words took me straight to where you where directing me, the swimming pool. It was written convincingly and well. I love it.
