We met ; First day, I can imagine it . He said he loved the things i do; And he showed that through acknowledgment. HE said this friendship would lead to bigger things ; like necklaces, pearls, and diamond rings . And i just about believed him ; why because i received him ; in a package that opened my eyes ; as time grew i was hypnotized; by -- his -- love.
And never once did i stop and say lets pause ; take a walk.. I begin to loose my vision of what i wanted ; me he never flaunted, by his past i was taunted. And i lost my dream ; silent screams . this is not me ! What i used to be; i can no longer see ; sitting in darkness i begin to notice -- that my love is blind .
