Age does not diminish the extreme disappointment of having ice cream fall from the cone.

Here I am trapped in my own little world
The world I created with my body and mind
I thought up the people
The places
The stories
And even a little flower in the cracks of a sidewalk
I pushed away dislikes and cut them off
I protected myself with people to keep me company
I cut and pasted
The people I enjoyed
So I could have them around more often
I made myself powerful and rich
Forced enemies to bow down at request
But I never realized I’d forget reality
So I threw a fit
When I came back
And the flower in the cracks was gone
