Guardian Angel

Little hands
Little feet
So much time
So much life

Hair like sunshine
Eyes like seashells
A spirit so wild
A spirit so free

She grips my hand
And leads me right
She’s my little follower
My little knight

Such a small child
So full of life
Such a cruel world
For her to be in

She’s innocent
Sweet
Kind
Tiny

She’s my little sister
Not by blood
But by
Heart

She’s my little
Guardian angel
When I’m alone
In the dark.

This is a beautiful poem, and it touched my heart. It captures the wonders of youth so well. 'Hair like sunshine/ Eyes like seashells.' That's so great!
