Cassie

The pain consumes her whole
The tears swallow her words,
leaving her speechless
The blade cuts across her arm
making her want to end it all
The tears fall faster and faster
she just wants to be loved,
for that feeling of being accepted
The beauty of her smile
captures me,
but she doesn't see how happy she makes me
If others are blind and can not see the girl with the bright smile
then they'll be missing out.
May the night pass,
and the tears dry up
Just lay there and think of me and you'll see the brighter side of things
I'll be everything you need
I'll be the friend
I'll be the parent
I'll be the teacher
I'll be whatever you need
I am the one and only person you'll ever need
Give me your hand and I'll lead you safely back to your safe haven
just confide in me and all your pain will fade away

What a touching piece! All of her pain makes your friendship all the more essential. I hope that she knows what a wonderful friends she has, and I wish her well.
