Can I Have You Back???
So I let her down
I let her go
Didn’t take long
For her to look for comfort
In his arms
I loved her
Wait, I’m a guy
What do I know about love?
Yes I’m stereotyping myself
And maybe I don’t know much
About love
But I know how it felt to have her
In my arms
I know how it felt
To be her guy
So why
Did I let her go?
There was another girl
I left her for
But that girl
Wasn’t who I thought she was
So I walked away
And lost everything
Because of it

Not to start a riot or anything, but your poem is relevant to any boy who does this. Leaves their girl for another because they think they have found better, but actually the one they were destined to be was right in front of their eyes, steps away from their arms. But they chose to let them go...and when things doesn't work out with the girl they left their loved one for...they have no one else because there's no telling whether that girl will take you back.
So this poem is very insightful, and sad...I am sorry. But I loved it. Keep writing!
