Ah! To be the wind
Unbound in tempest’s cost
To caress the clouds
And faces of a crowd
Oh! To be the wind
Whistling and screeching
Bringing forth cool blasts
Upon a heated surface
Mmm! To be the wind
To decorate the sky
In colored leaves
That whisper as lovers
Hmm…To be the wind
Gently drifting snowflakes,
Hard, needle rain,
Gentle fragrance of flora
Oh! To be the wind!
