A poem lives in my heart
Whether it's happy or torn apart
I can not always find the words to get it down on pretty paper
& Sometimes I let one go by telling myself "I'll write it down later."
Still the poem never ends & always has a place in life.
The poem expresses what I cannot during times of joy & strife
If you let your life be carried by the sweet flowing simplicity of a poem, how much more joy you will have known
Whether lost or at home.
In a world that never stops, know that true beauty of life is hiding in your poem- you just have to set down your phone and clicky computer mouse long enough to find it :)
