Favorite Quote:
You say that worlds will collide, whenever I'm by your side.
Dust from the distant sun, will shower over everyone.
("Distant Sun", Crowded House).

A Picture is Worth a Million Lies
But a million truths can be told in a smile
A frown can indicate nothing but feeling
Whereas blank expressions have inner minds reeling.

A Picture is Worth a Million Lies
And yet most plain looks show echoes of nice
A raised eyebrow can tell you thoughts
But displayed anger shows absolute nought.

A Picture is Worth a Million Lies
And tears and misery show signs of goodbyes
Happiness and joy are left unexplained
But the readable faces show nothing but pain.

A Picture is Worth a Million Lies
As society shows through it's thin disguise
The masks of humour soon start to wane
Because they do not understand the emotion they drain.

Originally began as a political poem but ended up as something I feel is completely different.
