Read me by moonlight
Only ever by moonlight
That's when it makes sense
Unless your dense
Only ever read me by moonlight
That's when they come to play
I've held me emotions and their tricks at bay
They've been crowded and shoved in
Its poems I unleash them in
I only ever let them by moonlight
Critic in the morning
Critic in the afternoon
My poems don't make sense in the light of day
But they have weight underneath the
Moon
