spring
Spring is full of wonder
Grass turns green
Sky, light blue
It’s all part of that beautiful wonder
It all seems normal, until you look
Deep into, its wonderful colors
Bright yellow, deep oranges, colorful greens
It’s all part of that beautiful wonder
The sounds are distinct
Always in sync
The crickets are chirping, while the birds are singing
It’s all part of that beautiful wonder
Water rushing, as the ice melts and breaks away
Freeing that water, from its terribly long slumber
The sun peeps out, shining down
It’s all part of that beautiful wonder
Soft laughter from kids
Running around, playing games
Enjoying the sun for the first since winter had started
It’s all part of that beautiful wonder
As you can see, spring is a blessing
One of which, many will ponder
But always remember, this one special thing
It’s all part of that beautiful wonder
