They roll down your pretty pink cheeks.
The ones that fall in the night.
In the cover of darkness.
Invisible so no one can see.
No one knows the hurt you feel

Hidden behind your bright blue eyes.
What haunts your dreams.
And keeps you from falling asleep at night.
Never knowing what tomorrow will bring.

You pretend isn’t there. But it sometimes surfaces.
It’s bound to isn’t it?
After keeping so much to yourself.
And all this mistreating.

Is that what people call this?
Giving all you have,
And getting little in return.

Of those who have everything.
Happy go lucky.
They don’t know what you endure.
Your smile, a perfect mask.

That feeling of loss.
Even over something you never really had.
Knowing you’ll never have it,
Hurts even more.

Pain of your past.
Following you into the future.
Never letting you forget, those decisions you made.
Oh you wish you could let go.
You want to move on with your life.

Hopes and dreams awaiting.
You can see them,
Just out of your reach.

The belief that tomorrow is another day.
That tomorrow might be better.

Pressing onward through the storm.
Living for today instead of dreading tomorrow.

Giving someone every part of you
And knowing they’ll always be there.
Beyond lies.
Beyond fake promises.

Never give up.
Always stand tall.
Mask those tears in darkness.
Never show your fears.
Learn to control your anger.
Always love but never in a one way relationship.
Grieve for those lost but don’t lose yourself.
Never admire those with regrets.
Follow your desires and
Hope for the best.
Make courage and trust a part of who you are.
Love all.
And allow them to love you in return.
You will always

There is a genuine emotional foundation in your piece, but it lacks maturity. It contains too many cliches and careless word choices.
