Just a Girl...
Just a Girl…
I would tell you my name
But I’m not sure it matters.
I would tell you my dreams
But I don’t know if I will make
A difference in the world.
Truth be told
I have no idea what I want,
Or what I will do.
I’m just another
Sixteen year old girl
Who is trying to find her place
In this scary world.
Maybe I’m a girl with strong
Views on society and
What she believes in.
Maybe I’m willing to
Fight for what I love
Because I don’t want to lose it.
Maybe I’m a dreamer, who
Wants to find adventure
In her simple life.
Yet, in the end,
I’m just a girl with
Big dreams, high hopes,
And a need to feel
Accomplished at something.
