Hold on to Faith

Right now you might be in the dark looking for a way out,
Feeling like you’re slipping through the cracks,
But hold on to faith through all your doubts,
And be ready for when life attacks.
Every heartache makes you stronger,
Look for the end of this lonely road,
And it won’t be much longer,
Until happiness will be bestowed.
You’re barley hanging by a thread,
And you know it’s okay for now
Because you’re screaming with your last breath.
Let love be all you allow,
And don’t let everything good sail away,
Left to drown in those painful yesterdays.

this is really good! you have a really good way of creating a certain mood through your fantastic word choice. the ending is super powerful: "left to drown in those painful yesterdays." it really left me with a lasting impression.
