Waiting

Hours pass
No luck
Time is frozen
I am stuck
Sitting down
Standing up
Watch on wrist
In a muck
Many people
Surrounding me
Large bodies
I can barely see
Bald heads
Big ears
Large bellies
No cheer
Black suits
Gray ties
Hats on heads
Covered eyes
Plain room
Hard chairs
Quietness
In the air
Newspapers
In hands
Some sit
Others stand
Mean faces
All around
I decide
To look at the ground
As I wait

Thank you very much for your commentary. I will take a look at your writings since you took the time to look at mine. :-)

i like how your verses are so choppy, yet together they flow so well. i like the message in this poem because it's something everyone can relate to. you're a great writer!

you can rate/comment on some of my work, too if you'd like. great job on this! keep writing!(:
