I opened my eyes today
Realizing the feeling that you once
Gave me was fake
I searched my mind today
For all good memories
But it dawned on me
They all disappeared
I closed my eyes today
Trying to shut out the feeling
You gave me
But I failed yet again
I finally realized today
Your sayings come back to haunt me
And your words now put me on
My deathbed
But sweetheart today I realized
That yesterday was the day
That a year ago you asked me to marry you
And now today is the day you said
Goodbye
