the ice queen struts down the hall
with the power of a force field
bodies slam against lockers and walls
perfect body, perfect hair
and you can hear them crawl
make-up as thick as shellac
and bleached locks loosely fall
they cover up the monster
hiding underneath it all

when she enters a room, all goes cold
if you had anyone's attention
you might as well fold
on the surface
she is bubbly and bold
but lurking deep down
her heart is full of dust and mold
she is as ugly
as the rumors and lies she has told

the sides do not exist
as good and bad
being a b****
is just a fad
though her actions
may make you mad
remember that you have a heart
and be glad.

I really enjoyed this piece and love the title especially! I have a ton of girls in my school like this...next time I feel jealous of their beauty, I will remember that the outside doesn't neccesarily reflect how they really are. Thank you! Check out my work sometime and tell me what you think of it =]
