Lost Within You
can feel you, breathing through my soul,
whispering about life, about love
I can feel you, as I lay with you under the sun
when everything remained quiet,
and life was no longer a run,
a race out of the maze, but a silent path
where I'd get lost in your embrace,
as we watch as the day dies.
I can feel your fingers between mine
as we walk down the road in a straight line
to wherever it leads, we'll just follow the signs
down a beautiful path surrounded by tall pines
air is fresh, we are breathing life into us
We inhale a dreamland as the sun falls
autumm breeze runs through our hair
the world will spin, the time will fly
as we listen to life's lullaby
and as the clock ticks our way through
we will always remember how once we were true
lost watching the bright blue sky
lost within you
