I like to think
that the sad poetry
writes its self.

It dips its broken tail
in to my ink well
and limps across the page.

It looks at me
broken
filled with rage,

and screams.
"You must love me!
I'm on your page!'

I showed this poem to my english professor at UCLA and she was very very very impressed. Mililani Hawaii has talent!!
