"The lunatic, the lover, and the poet, are of imagination all compact."
William Shakespeare

Pencil touching paper
Making words
Making magic
Thoughts that process
As snow falls outside
And the icy cold wind bites beneath the skin to the very bone
Dim light shines from lamp
Words clash with words
Beautiful music plays
Warm pumpkin spice scent
Floats and lingers in the air
Withered books lay to be reread
Thoughts engraving themselves in the brain
Clock ticks
Time flashes by
Getting older
Getting wiser
Truth spins it’s way in to
A web of lies
Stars shine and twinkle with innocence
Moon steals light from sun
Shines bright in sky
Pitch black outside
Pencil touching paper
Scribling words of
Of love
Of hate
Of emotion!
