But we can't look away.
There's nothing else to see,
How was I supposed to know
It would end one day?
Fear and hope had held our hearts,
But we kept our secret, kept it well,
That we were struck by Cupid's darts,
And we'd hid our heaven among hell.

i like how you took a title that almost everyone knows and turned it into something original. your rhyming flows very well, almost as if a professional wrote it!
