C'est la vie - such is life
Sometimes things happen,
Things so cruel,
Things so unfair,
You lose faith in life,
You lose faith in humanity,
You lose faith in yourself.
But sometimes you have to bite your lip,
Close your eyes,
Get a grip on life,
And pray for better times soon.
C'est la vie - such is life.
The waters have been rocky,
The wind has been fierce,
But you have to hold on,
Pray for calmer waters,
And hope for the best.
C'est la vie - such is life.
Things happen,
They happen to us all.
