"If you cant run, you crawl, if you cant crawl... you find some one to carry you."

Falling through space
Seeing the stars as they rise
Watching from afar as they fall
Feeling the world turn its usual course
Nothing's changed.

In space
In time
With war
With peace
Nothing's changed.

For flag's
For father's
Not for honor
Not for justice
Nothing's changed.

For they ride as always
The four set out
They come from mortals
Be they honorable or meek
Nothing's changed.

Ride Strife
The mistrust it brings
With teeth bared
Against kin
Nothing's changed.

Ride Famine
From scales
Life is watched
The slowly dying
Nothing's changed.

Ride Death
The pale horse
That brings sorrow
With a parting gift
Nothing's changed.

Ride Horseman
Time has come
Time has gone
Time will be again
For War never changes.

What inspired this piece is a fascination with the four horsemen and writing at three in the morning with a caffeine buzz.
