You caused the hurt
And now you're taking it away
***
You've opened my heart
And let the hurt flow out
***
You're coaxing my happiness
Out of it's dark corner
***
I have discovered
A new way of seeing things
***
You've brought joy back
Into my joyless life
***
My smiles are no longer fake
Thanks to you, my friend.
