"An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind". -Mohandas K. Gandhi

What if the Cat and Mouse were friends all along;
Would they perhaps devote time to dancing or joining in song?
What if Humans had never invented agriculture, would we have no war?

Staying Hunter/Gatherers would have been a score!
For if nobody owned the land we farm,
We would not need to take up arms!
For fighting had no gain,
If what you seek cannot be owned; your violence in vain!
So now that we did invent agriculture yet are interested in peace again,

We should not be so fearful,
Of what is truly cheerful.
Hugs, love, and open displays of affection,
The culture of the state sees no connection,
Between those things and good.
I wish they would.
Don’t they know that those things make you more peaceful?
Instead they make their food more “greaseful”.
Do not our games talk of naught but war?
Don’t you too wish for more?
