prideful love

what is love? is it just a word that is used to exspress your feelings? a lot of people take for granted what love really is. they just use it to claim that they really deeply love somone when really inside they are fooling themselves. as said in the bible in first corinthians thirteen,"love is patient, love is kind. it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud".sometimes people get carried away with their pride. they begin to live a life of selfishness. so then again i ask myself, what is love?.
