Girl Meets Boy
Hey you, boy with the dark hair
And bright eyes, I need you help see
My shoes are untied and dirty,
My socks are mis-matched and clingy,
My hairs a riot mess with split ends,
And I think my eyeliners a bit messy again.
By the way my hearts up for rent,
But be careful it’s a little cracked and bent,
Just thought I’d tell you now your smiles to die for
But I bet you’ve heard this before
Your eyes so blue and intense like an ocean tide
Probably making every girl blush and hide
Your hair midnight like coal
You just seem to make me feel completely whole
So tell me, do you feel the same?
If you don’t, it’s okay, I can’t put you at the one to blame.
