Music Is A Gift

July 23, 2010
You might not hear it
But its there
Its everywhere
Even the harmony of the birds chirping
The thrumming of a bees wings against its body
The smooth sound of the wind rustling through the trees
Put it together and hear it
If you just listen closely
But no,
You won’t take the time
You’re too caught up in the moment
Too focused on the destination
Not the journey
Always waiting for the light at the end of the tunnel
Not even seeing the adventure around you in the dark
Dark, the unexplored parts of your life
You say you have no time for it
But only if you knew
Only if you could appreciate natures beauty
Nature’s gift to us
You need to slow down
Your life's in the fast lane
I wish you would listen
Music is all around you
If only you could hear it
