Without a Dent

Guilt guilt guilt
What a weight to bear
Imagining it greater
The pain you couldn't share!

They look into yours
They see right through lies
The tense fear you disguise
It glints in your eyes.

Tell the truth, tell the truth
Get rid of the pressure
And for good measure
Apologize! All the better!

For living like this
Is a fate worse than death
It'd be better to repent
And live without a dent.
But whole- one in it's own
To see tomorrow come.
