Please forgive me for i have neglected my duties
To mother nature's beauties
to the trees to the lakes, and to the skies above
Please forgive me for i have done what i am most afraid of
I have tarnished my soul
and on me it has taken it's toll
the boy i like doesn't know that i like him
my unworthy heart fills almost to the brim
with compassion and regret
but i am only 13 you say i am not supposed to have emotions yet
Please forgive me for i feel
I feel pity towards the people who taunt me for they don't understand my ideals
I feel sadness for all the poverty in the world
I feel grief for all death has taken to the other worlds
I feel anticipation for all that will come
I feel compassion for all living things in the slums
I feel emotions
