Favorite Quote:
"And they say we'll never see half as much
as they did. It's true that we never saw Vietnam
or World War Two. We didn't see our mother's cry
when John F. Kennedy died, but we've lived our
whole lives being told that we're just not good
enough. We've seen anorexia and bulimia because
skinny just isn't skinny enough. We saw Columbine
and watched the Twin Towers fall. We've seen a
lot of greed and even more hate. Our generation
fights a different kind of war but we've seen just
as much as them.. and maybe even more."

Let’s play pretend
Everyone’s favorite game as a kid
But we’re no longer kids,
Yet we are still playing

Is this all high school is?
Seeing someone in the hall, and smile and wave,
But when their back is turned, names are called.
Or is it something more?
Something more then boys, the prom queen, and who slept with whom

There should be more to life then this,
Even if we are just teenagers.
The real world, jobs, money, college
All are horrible prospects no one wants to think about
Yet they bring about the best adventures

But we all are just playing pretend,
Hiding amongst stereotypes and lies
Too afraid to live
But too proud to admit it
