I am rough souls
smacking against the black pavement
I am dirty heels
leaving muddy little foot prints where ever I go
I am little toes
wiggling under cold rushing water
I am the thumpidy thump thump
you hear running down the street on hot summer days
I am the queen of splinters
the dutches of tree climbing
the princess of bumps and bruises
I am blisters on my bones
the result of another day full of exploration and adventure
I am tough skin
treading fearlessly across seas of gravel
I am the conquerer of dusty dashboards
the roamer of abandoned dirt roads
I am the the defier of gravity
the leaper of faith
I am the carrier of all treaders
I am the soul connection to the earth
the matcher of its beat
