although it seems time has drifted away
the pain seems to stay
planting itself in my core
where it shall remain forever more
nothing changed nothing done
nowhere to hide nowhere to run
you can change the mirror
but it's the same image
unmoved unchanged
no matter what you do
or if no one knows the truth
you will never forget that day in december
truly, yes truly a day to remember
