Another Girl's Pretty Face

I don’t want you to fade away
A haunting face I’d see everyday
Moments together,
When the clock was counting down,
Will flash through my mind.
At that crack of time where your eyes would meet mine,
I’d see tangled up with our love is the tears I had cried.
My head would be in stuck in a distant dream
Or last night’s nightmare
Until your stare
Would be pulled away to another girl’s pretty face.
