Screams of Torture

Screams of torture,
Cries of anguish,
Sweat and blood flow mingled together.
This is the price for my failures.
A whip cracks,
Flesh is stripped from bone,
Carnage is at work.
This is the penalty for betrayal.
This is my debt,
but it, I do not pay,
For love is at work.
This is the Lord's love for me...and you.
