Laughter
Remembering me with a warm heart
Aching
And overflowing with memories
Not just another loss
But a missing piece of your puzzle,
A silent joke
An absent hand
A lifeless hug
Or a Romeo without his Juliet
I want to be the drive
That gets you going
Pushing you harder
With no regrets
That friend that was always there
When your days didn’t shine as bright
Never to leave you
Or let you down
Or let you go
I want to be the laughter in your life.

This was a poem assigned for our English class. We had to write about what we want us to symbolize in each other lives. How we wanted to be remembered when we passed.
