Charging the weapon and putting on the safe.
Pulling the trigger, how does one figure?
Answers turned into fate.
Put on the semi, pulling and holding down
the trigger.

We all ask, how does one figure?
Charging the weapon, release the trigger.
Anxiety grows and the fear grows bigger,

How do we figure?

The weapon fires, place on burst.
Who would you like to kill first?
Charge the weapon three exact times,
knowing all the facts.
Five years of training as hard work transforms into
Tears.

No we are not safe, putting the safe on anyway.
Close the esection taking charge of your own post.
Property in plain view.

Waking up in a military manner.
America, America, what have you done? Now in the hands
of the most peaceful people we find fully loaded guns.

I liked this poem and agree with its meaning. Such violence is an extemely sad thing, especially by the hands of the 'hero country' of America.
