When you promised me I'd live
You never told me I could die
When you promised everything was fine
You never stated the world was unkind
When you told me you loved me
You never reminded me it was unconditional
When you told me to try
You never soothed what had to cry
When you told me I was talented
You never gave me a reason to believe
When you told me to believe
You asked me to forgive
When you told me to hate
You contradicted everything I was taught
When you told me I was nothing
You spat it with the ugliest words
When you told me I was everything?
You were lying.

haha this was wonderful, but I am still in shock that no one else has commented on these.... I guess they just got tired of you being such an amazing poet... I'm not. I'm more reading this for my own enjoyment. being a little selfish, not going to lie. :)
