Move Out Of The House

July 13, 2010
Dear Sickness,
I know you’re there
But I forget you easily
Only to be reminded of your devilish ways
When someone points something out
That is a direct result of you
Dear Sickness,
I know you know the harm you cause me
You know you have a crippling affect
On my slowly dying mind, body, and soul
You know you are hurting me
Hurting me than anything. . .
Or anyone else in this world
Dear Sickness,
This is my final goodbye to you
I will now wear my battle scars with pride
I will no longer let you crowd my mind
I will no longer feel sad when I am reminded of you
You make me who I am
But I will not be defined by you
Dear Sickness,
I will burn this note in a fire
So you can read it in hell
You no longer bother me, or define me
I have only one word to say to you
And that, dear Sickness,
Is goodbye
