Alec Anthony Bauer
You were always smiling; laughing
With that twinkle in your eye
But suddenly Jesus called your name
And took you up into the sky.
I was lucky to have known you
For the short time that I did
We made memories that will live forever
You were one amazing kid
You were with us for some fourteen years
Before we said so long
One very short year has passed us by
And you’ve been here all along
One day I’ll see you yet again
Oh, the time that we will spend.
But until then, all I can say is this:
Rest in peace, my dear old friend.
