The Dreamer

Pathways unfold,
As the lies that are told,
Slowly unravel to dust,
Moon light streams,
Through the dusty window,
Revealing a forgotten dream,
Left by a dreamer,
Corrupted by envy,
For what his minds eye saw,
To no longer sit at the footstep,
Of a master,
Who no longer see’s,
Nor cares for this dreamer,
The dreamers unimportance,
Washed over like a wave,
So the dreamer lies,
To impress this master,
Spins such tales,
Only the jealous will believe,
What they didn’t see behind them,
Was their discarded dreams,
Being picked up,
By another dreamer,
Ready to start a dream.
