Reject
Those eyes that are always staring
Watching
Waiting for me to screw up
Or embarrass myself
They burn
But I try and ignore them
They burn deeper
And deeper
Until they get what they want
I snap
I yell and run
But as I run
I hear the laughter
And the whispers
I see fingers pointing
I freeze
And to all of them
I shout
They gasp and stop taunting
They will never know
How much it
Being a reject hurts
And how it makes you
Stand out
And how much
The names and the laughs hurt
They make it so much worse
They will never know
How it feels
To have no one
Except this book of poems
Never ending feelings
Everyone else doesn’t care about what comes out of my mouth
They never do
They never will
The never ending s*** of being a reject
